Man, I am a hunter and a fisherman that does all my own processing! My Wife got me the LOKI after watching me struggle to cut through FROZEN deer and hog trimmings to grind for sausage. I stuff a one gallon ziplock bag full of venison meat (and prefer to grind frozen). So, I can cut through a solid block of meat with ease! I have owned this knife for 3 years, and cut up about 10 bags of frozen meat into grinding size chunks. It is almost unbelievable how good this knife is! My Henkle butchers knife would wear me out... the northern knife, loki is insane how it handles the job. ALSO, the finger hole for gripping when cutting up pork shoulder which inevitably will make my hands greasy is a life savor!
Purchased A set of knives from Northern Knives. Upon receiving my order (Knives look great). I noticed one was missing. Reached out to Northern knives and in a few hours, shipped out the missing knife. Great service, great after purchase care and great looking knives. Cant wait to use them.
