Don't buy a Wenig Stock. My $4500 Wenig stock cracked. It was still under warranty but Wenig refused to honor their own warranty. They offer to sell me another stock and give a small discount. I have bought 3 separate Wenig stocks for three of my guns. I thought I was a good customer. Wrong ! Bobby at Wenig was a Real Butt ! He did not know why my stock cracked but he did know it was not Wenig's fault !!! During our discussion he called me a liar. Please Don't Buy from Wenig. Leasa in the office is the only person that trys to help you and tells you the truth! Larry Cole
Poor quality craftmanship. Sent two Ruger 10/22's in for new stocks, only to receive them months later with the barreled actions on the wrong stocks and scratches in the finish of the barrels and receivers. Talked to the owner at length and he swore up and down that none of that was true. Finally sent both barreled actions in with full documentation (I was smart enough ahead of time to meticulously document barrel profiles, receiver serial numbers, trigger groups. and stock styles for each. After he received both he absolutely could not argue and had to provide me with a free stock and discounts to cover having the barrels and actions re-blued. However, the new stock had proud metal (took much wood was removed and the metal stuck out) at the trigger group and was again, poor quality craftsmanship. At this point I was done and just gave up. Buyer beware.
