After reading some of the other reviews for Rack N Reel I knew I had to leave one. I’ve been into Rack N Reel quite a bit now for the great selection of fishing lures. But I’ve recently purchased my first couple of handguns from them. I went in and didn’t have to wait long before a nice older gentleman came over to assist me. I told him what I was looking for and with a budget and he showed me plenty of options that fit my budget and fit my needs and I ended up making a purchase of a gun that was such a great deal you couldn’t resist. Fast forward a few weeks later and I’m back again for another. Same thing, the other older gentleman came over and helped me out and let me look at a few things before I found the one I liked, again at a great discounted price! I just couldn’t leave without it. If you know firearms then they will let you handle them and get a feel for them. Just have some etiquette! The folks I have met at Rack N Reel so far have been nothin but helpful and understanding, making sure I get what I need as a customer, and they can even order things for you that may not be IN the store! I will be going back for business!

Came here to buy a Glock 29 and ended up waiting 30 minutes to be checked out while employees stood around talking only to be told loudly by the older woman behind the counter to “get out and get my shit together” in front of the whole checkout line because my ID had expired. I work 10 hours a day every day of the week and although the responsibility is on me to be aware of my ID expiration. It doesn’t warrant being essentially bullied by the very establishment you chose to support. Buy your ammo from Palmetto and your guns from anywhere else. It’ll be cheaper, faster and you won’t end up regretting taking the time out of your day to be treated poorly. If you like spending 60$ on a single box of 9mm and being heckled, this is the right place to go.
