I brought my boss a 83 year old veteran into the Roanoke Virginia store and he purchased a $600.00 refrigerator from them they guaranteed it for 30 days. 1st one the ice maker didn't work and the upper part didn't keep our food cold. So I called and they had me to come in to choose another one. Thought that was Kool and helped me to deliver and switch it out. That was super nice, even installed it. Well the refrigerator part worked really good on this one and the ice maker even worked! SMH! The freezer well it wasn't working, almost lost all the frozen food. Lucky my boss has a small deep freezer so I was able to save the food! Well I went back to the store and told them what was going on. I requested a copy of a manual to help me figure out the correct temperature for the unit. Even downloaded the app since it was LG. Well no luck with the freezer. So needless to say I had to call back and let them know what was going on with the refrigerator. He sent his guys out and they picked up the refrigerator alright! They unloaded it on the table and removed the refrigerator and left! I was out on an errand and my boss called me told me what just happened! I immediately called the store and told them what happened. Also making them aware that if my food went bad they were responsible to replace it. They agreed they would. Well they brought another refrigerator. Yes it's over and under like my boss wanted. But it doesn't have an ice maker! Well the manager called me and told me that he was going to give my boss $200.00 For the inconvenience. I thought that was great. So I called my boss told him the manager was going to come see him and bring him 200 of his money back. Well here's the kicker he was lied to, He was only allowed the money if he gave him all of the food out of it!! And how come the 3rd refrigerator also stinks really bad. They didn't clean it up! I don't get people anymore
Absolutely trash place. Try to sell and it depends on who you are. They’ll buy used shoes at $5 but not a practically brand new watch which they don’t even know how it works. You can call to ask if they buy something and then when you come in they say they don’t buy it. It doesn’t matter what condition your item is in if they don’t like you they won’t buy from you. Stay away from the guy with the Christmas hat.
