Savage headlines the specification sheet for this platform. Factory literature categorizes it as a sporting rifle, which frames expectations for handling and use. Factory chambered in 22 Magnum, built around a lever action with a 9 + 1 round capacity to keep performance predictable from shot to shot. Dimensional notes call out a barrel length of 18" in and overall length measuring 36.50" in, helping you plan cases and storage. Unloaded weight settles near 6.10 lbs, which influences recoil management and carry options. Furniture is trimmed in walnut with a wood finish, giving the rifle its classic profile.
