I started using Johnny 13 years ago when I moved to the area. Since then, he has build probably more than a dozen custom guns for me in whole or in part, and has Cerakoted, restored, and repaired many more. He has invested in building his knowledge moving from part time to full time gunsmith. I've paid way more for so so-called "Top-Tier" nationally known household-name gunsmiths and wound up having to get Johnny to fix a brand new custom gun I'd paid $3000 - $5000 for when I could have gotten him to do it much cheaper and correctly the first time. Pictured is my last full custom Johnny did for me chambering a 27" Brux barrel with 1:7.5 twist in .257 bore to a wildcat .250 MDC I dreamed up. It's on a Rem 700 action with all internals replaced with an HS Precision stock, Timney Calvin Elite trigger, and custom Cerakote matching the stock. The brake is blended perfectly in seamless fashion. The gun hasn't grouped over 1/2 MOA with any load yet. 133 Berger, 134 Hornady, and 145 grain Black Hole bullets all shoot equally, as well. Everything is dialed in to 2/10,000ths or less before he cuts and minimum headspacing is used. Doesn't matter what you need done on what kind of gun, he can do it better than anyone else I've seen. And I've seen plenty! Best of the best right here at home!
