I don’t usually write reviews — in fact, this is my first Google review — but this experience earned it. I was a student renewing my concealed carry, and I highly recommend training with Jeremiah Henderson. First and foremost, Jeremiah, the owner and instructor, is honest. No pressure, no upselling, no hidden costs — just straightforward pricing and integrity. Second, the man knows how to shoot. He’s a true expert marksman and precision shooter. I’ve been shooting for years, and the way he breaks down technique and makes small, targeted adjustments immediately tightened my groups. With just a few corrections to my fundamentals, my accuracy improved significantly. He even had me shoot left-handed, and I was still able to perform accurately. Third, Jeremiah is extremely knowledgeable about firearms and the laws surrounding them in this country. He doesn’t just teach you how to shoot — he teaches you how to understand what you’re doing and why it works. His instruction builds confidence, control, and real consistency. If you’re renewing your concealed carry or just want to sharpen your skills, you will leave better than you arrived. I highly recommend him.

I took the Basic Skills Training class with Jeremiah Henderson and found him a knowledgeable and engaging instructor. I learned a lot in that class about gun identification, how to load, unload, and take apart (and put back together!) a gun as well as safety rules for basic firearm handling. Videos and handouts illustrated the concepts he was teaching. Several weeks later, Jeremiah gave me instruction at a shooting range, which was my first time both at a shooting range and using a firearm. He walked me through the process of getting a lane, renting guns, basic safety, and shooting range etiquette (e.g., sweep away the casings from your lane before leaving). I was impressed by his patience and wealth of knowledge as he helped me with stance, breathing, adjusting my grip, and proper trigger pull. In all, my experiences with One Shot and Jeremiah have been very positive. My goal was home defense, so I can’t speak to the conceal carry training, but I strongly recommend him to anyone wanting to learn to competently and responsibly use a firearm.
