Repaired two firearms in a timely and for a fair price. Bob is very knowledgeable and willing to explain in detail the issues that I had encountered. He also provided personal advice on how to make my 1911 more"user friendly". Highly recommended.
I took a gun to get cleaned and re assembled. When I got the gun home I opened it up just to check it over real quick. I noticed a nick in the handle by one of the pins. I saw that an over sized pin was put in an cut off to fit leaving the gun nicked. I took the gun back to bob and he said he didn't do it. I told him that I just opened it up and saw it. he question me a few times as to why I would care and how often I would disassemble the gun. I told him I just wanted the gun in the original working condition. He said he didn't do it. At this point I knew the outcome. I told him there were only three possibilities at this point. He is lying, I am lying, or he had somebody else do it. The scratch and shabby work was not the main concern for me. All he had to was put the right pin in and forget the scratch. he trough me out of his office.
